God isn’t changing your circumstance; He’s changing what is within your circumstance.

He is changing your character, your integrity, and your inner strength. These are called… “everlasting qualities.”

These “everlasting qualities” changing within you, are what you need to withstand the changing seasons in your life.

“There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens”   – Ecclesiastes 3:1

“Everlasting qualities” are what it takes in order to grow and deal with these constantly, changing times. Unfortunate situations may not change, but how you view them and deal with them, can. The closer you get to God, the more you will begin to take on His characteristics and grow in character, integrity and inner strength.

Sometimes, you have no control over your circumstances, especially when something or someone intrudes into your life or comfort zone. This is when…who you really are inside.. is revealed. Despite the situation, whether someone else caused it, you caused it, or God placed you there for a reason, your true character is going to be revealed in tough times.

We should seek, and choose daily, to develop the “everlasting qualities” of God’s characteristics inside of us. When troubled times come and interrupt our lives, it can really make it difficult to be like God. Whether we are aware of it or not, people are watching and listening to how we react in threatening situations.

Remember:
Tough times never last, tough people do!
