I wanted to share a few thoughts that have been on my heart lately about three core aspects of our faith: light, life, and love.

1. Light as Our Guide

In John 8:12, Jesus says, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” It’s a comforting reminder that in the midst of our personal struggles and the world’s confusion, Jesus offers us clarity and guidance. When we follow Him, we not only find our path illuminated but also become a light to others, helping them find their way.

2. The Abundance of Life

Another verse that speaks to me is John 10:10, where Jesus tells us, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” This isn’t just about surviving day-to-day; it’s about living a life filled with joy, purpose, and peace, even in the face of challenges. The life Jesus offers isn’t just for the here and now—it’s a promise of eternal life that begins the moment we put our trust in Him.

3. The Power of Love

Lastly, I’m always drawn back to the simplicity and depth of Jesus’ command in Matthew 22:37-39: to love God with all our heart and to love our neighbor as ourselves. His love for us, shown so powerfully on the cross, is the foundation of our faith. We’re called to reflect that love in our relationships, in how we care for others, and in how we live each day.

As I’ve been reflecting on these truths, I thought they might resonate with you too. Light, life, and love are more than just words—they’re the essence of our walk with Christ. I hope this encourages you as much as it has me.
