My dear friend,
I am writing to you from Jerusalem just a short distance from Bethlehem, where the story of hope entered our world wrapped in humility and glory.
Earlier today I stood at the Western Wall. As I rested my hands on those ancient stones, the weight of history, the sound of worship, and the quiet cry of thousands of prayers lifted toward heaven washed over me.
In that moment, I felt a fresh surge of Momentum, divine, unmistakable, undeniable.
As we enter this Christmas season, three thoughts have gripped me here in the land where Jesus was born, walked, wept, and triumphed:
- Christmas Is a Call to Pray Again
Standing at the Wall, I realized prayer is not a ritual; it is a lifeline.
Christmas began with a cry from a manger, and today God still hears our cries with compassion.
Every cry to Jesus brings peace. From Jerusalem, I want to encourage you: pray again. Bring your family, your fears, your dreams, and your battles to the Lord. Heaven is not distant. His presence is near.
- Christmas Is the Season of Courage
Bethlehem was small. Mary and Joseph felt insignificant. The early disciples were outnumbered.
Yet God chose simple people to carry extraordinary purpose. If you feel stretched, tired, or unsure, remember this: courage is born in surrender.
As I have walked through great difficulties throughout the years, courage has not come from strength in myself, but from leaning into God’s strength.
This Christmas, let courage rise in you. Let faith speak louder than fear. Let the promise of Emmanuel, God with us, remind you that you never walk alone.
- Christmas Opens the Door to a Fresh Move of God
In Jerusalem I sense something stirring, an unusual expectancy.
In my own heart, I can tell there is an extraordinary move of God unfolding. Perhaps you feel it too.
When God sent His Son into the world, He shattered darkness with light. That same light is breaking through today. I believe the next season will be marked by renewed joy, restored hope, and multiplied influence.
You are part of this move. Your prayers, your faith, and your partnership are helping carry the message of Jesus to nations.
From Jerusalem to wherever you are reading this, may the God of all comfort fill you with peace, courage, and holy Momentum.
With gratitude,
Mikel French
