Good morning cherished family & friends,

One morning, something settled deep in my heart. I began thinking about something that stirs me every time I consider it. Something so profound it is almost difficult to comprehend.

Our names are written in Heaven.

Read that one more time. Our names are written in Heaven. Now just let that reality sit for a moment.

What an extraordinary thing God has done. We cannot see it now, but one day we will see Him face to face. And there in Heaven, our names will be written.

To me, that is something to rejoice about again and again.

Jesus said something that cuts through all the noise of life. He told His followers not to rejoice in power, results, or even spiritual victories, but to rejoice that their names are written in heaven. (Luke 10:20)

That is the center. And honestly, that re centers me this week.

This is not about what I do for God. It is about where I stand with Him. Our position as His children.

But I do not want to leave you with only that. There are three more things we can continue to rejoice about because of what this powerful truth means for our lives.

I Rejoice Because I Belong

There is something deeply personal about knowing my name is written there. Not earned. Not negotiated. Not fragile. Written. Eternal.

This is not about my accomplishments.

It is about His grace and my surrender. The God of eternity came looking for me through His Son, and now I belong to Him. That settles my heart. When everything else shifts, this does not.

I do not wake up trying to prove myself. I wake up already accepted.

I Rejoice Because His Presence Is My Priority

If my name is written in heaven, then my life on earth has a clear center. His presence.

This week is not about chasing outcomes. It is about walking with Him. Talking with Him. Being aware of Him in the ordinary. The resurrection did not just secure my future. It restored my relationship.

I do not want to get distracted by activity and miss intimacy. What matters most is that I am with Him, and He is with me right here, right now.

I Rejoice Because My Life Has Eternal Purpose

Knowing my name is written there changes how I see people and moments.

I am not just going through a week. I am stepping into divine opportunities. There are people who need to be reached, conversations that matter, and promptings from God that I do not want to ignore. I want to hear His voice in the everyday and respond, not out of pressure, but out of overflow.

Because when you know where you are going, you live differently while you are here.

This is my takeaway from Easter. I rejoice not in what I have done, but in what He has done. My name is written there. That truth steadies me, fills me, and sends me into this week with joy.

Blessings,
Mikel
