Dear friends and family,

The heart is more than the place where we feel emotion. Scripture presents the heart as the very center of our being—the place where our thoughts, desires, motives, and decisions are formed.

That is why Proverbs warns us:

“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23

Whatever fills the heart will eventually influence everything else. Our relationships, choices, attitudes, words, and even the direction of our lives flow from what is happening within us. A healthy spring brings life, but a contaminated spring affects everything it touches.

The tragedy of sin is that it did more than change human behavior—it damaged the human heart. Since the fall of Adam, humanity has experienced shame, sorrow, sickness, broken relationships, spiritual oppression, and separation from God.

We did not merely need better habits.

We needed a new heart.

And God made us an extraordinary promise:

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26

God does not simply repair the old heart. Through Jesus Christ, He gives us a new one. He removes the hardness created by sin and gives us a heart that is tender toward His voice, receptive to His presence, and responsive to His will.

This is the power of the Gospel: Jesus makes all things new.

He gives us a new heart, places His Spirit within us, and welcomes us into a new covenant. We receive a new relationship with God, a new spiritual family, a new purpose, and a new future.

The final chapters of Revelation reveal where this promise is taking us:

“Behold, I make all things new.” Revelation 21:5

One day, tears, pain, death, and mourning will be gone forever. God will dwell with His people, and everything damaged by sin will be completely restored. But the miracle of that coming Kingdom has already begun inside every person who believes.

Today, do not merely ask God to change your circumstances.

Ask Him to continue changing your heart.

A new heart produces new thoughts.
New thoughts produce new choices.
New choices produce a new direction.

God is making all things new—and He is beginning in you.
