Good evening! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and found some great Black Friday deals for yourself or your loved ones.

Now, as we dive into Christmas, let’s focus on its true message. Christmas is about more than just gifts and decorations—it’s about the message that changed the world.

Every story, tradition, or idea has a message, and Christmas is no different. So, what is the message of Christmas, who is the messenger, and what gives it momentum?

The message is simple: light, life, and love. The most important and foundational of these is love. The messenger is Jesus, with the Holy Spirit giving the momentum behind the message.

Jesus was sent to reveal God’s nature—when we see Jesus, we see the Father. He is the light of the world, the source of life, and the ultimate example of love. As 1 John 4:9 says, “In this, the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent His only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him.”

Jesus came to point us to God’s love. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we are forgiven, healed, and given access to the Father. Through the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to live out the godly life God has called us to walk.

The message of Christmas is love—not just any love, but the unconditional, sacrificial love of God. For God is love. As we celebrate Jesus’ birth, let’s remember that He came to bring us life through God’s great love.

This season, take a moment to read the story of Jesus’ birth and reflect on what truly matters. Amid the hustle and bustle, let’s remember the real reason we celebrate: God’s love, made manifest in Jesus.
