Prayer Changes Things

You may ask, how does prayer change things?

Do you doubt the power of prayer?

Matthew 21:21-22 says, “And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

How much time are you spending in the power of prayer daily?

James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”

We have the Holy Spirit as our conduit.

This is a prayer you can use,

Matthew 6:9-13 says, “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom comes, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

We often go to God about our everyday problems and expect him to fix it right there and then. Things don’t work like that, we in a way, also think of God as Bruce Almighty, where we ask for something, and we believe it’s just going to appear.

We need to trust in Him.

You need a relationship with God.

Follow God, follow that narrow road.

We often are too busy or always talking; God wants to speak to you.

Get quite in your prayer time and listen to his voice.

Get to know his voice.

John 10:27 says, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”

Know God has his arms wide open for you and is ready to listen to what you have to say. He’s ready for you to pray out your future, pray out his plans over your life.

Don’t put limits on God, because, through him, everything is possible.

1 John 5:14-15 says, “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”

God will answer our prayers according to his will.

Building Your Confidence in Him

Have you ever felt unworthy?

Sometimes it’s easy to stay in a place of insecurities.

I can help and tell you that’s not who you are in Christ. Your insecurities does not define who you are in Him.

You are so much more.

You are worth so much more.

Be confident in God; be yourself.

Romans 8:31 says,” If God is for us, who can be against us? We are more than conquerors through Him who loves us.”

You are more than a conqueror.

“I am more than a conqueror.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”

You are not who you once were; You are forgiven.

“I am not who I once was; I am forgiven.”

Deuteronomy 31:6 says, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

You are strong and courageous.

“I am strong and courageous.”

Ephesians 6:10-18 says, “10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”

You will put on the full armor of God every day.

“I will put on the full armor of God every day.”

1 Corinthians 15:57 says, “But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

You can overcome everything with Christ. You are an overcomer.

“I can overcome everything with Christ. I am an overcomer.”

These are the ways you build your confidence in Him.
