In my years of ministry, I’ve met many people who worry about their future. Some seek a prophetic word, but remember, it’s a gift from the spirit, given in its own time. When I meet folks like this, I often ask:
“What are you reading? Who are you spending time with?”
You might wonder why I ask. Well, it’s because these things can shape where your life is headed.
The people you surround yourself with and the things you read can greatly influence your future.
The five closest people to you are the ones you tend to act the most like. So, who you allow in your life to influence you can paint a picture of the direction you are headed towards.
What you read and feed on also has a major influence on your life!
That’s why it’s vital to fill your life with God’s word, the truth that brings light, guidance, faith, and peace.
On the flip side, if you fill your mind with drama and gossip, that’s what you’ll see reflected in your life.
So, think about it: What are you reading, and who are you hanging out with? It can make a big difference in where you’re headed.
Remember, like iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. And let’s strive to show ourselves approved by God, guided by His truth. Let His word light your path.
