I believe as followers of Christ during this trial, especially, we need to be more authoritative in our prayers than ever before.
As I think of everything that believers are facing around the world I am reminded of the Apostle Paul. He is a prime example of someone who never gave up but preserved for the Gospel’s sake. He never lost sight of his mission or end goal and because of that, he had to be tenacious to overcome many trials.
How are we acting during this season? With tenacity, persevering as Paul did? Or passively just waiting for COVID-19 to be over?
Although the world has drastically changed, we still have opportunities to pray for and bless other people, as well as make a difference in the Kingdom of God.
I believe God is preparing millions of hearts around the globe to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. So as Paul preserved through many trials, I want Christians around the world to link arms and pray authoritative prayers for this virus to be destroyed and for people to realize how badly they need the forgiveness and love of our Father.
We will overcome this season with tenacity and come out on the other side more ready to persevere for the Gospel and souls that are still lost than ever before.
“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” ~ Ephesians 6:18
