Victory Reality

“But thanks be to God,

Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

~ 1 Corinthians 15:57

The reality is that we are victorious!

No matter what battle we are facing right now, or will face in the future,

Jesus Christ has already won the victory for us!

All we have to do is let His victory become our reality.

Live in the reality of Christ’s victory!

Every battle you fight, every giant you face-

Christ has given you His victory!

You don’t have to live in sickness, grief, sorrow, anxiety, depression, lack, debt, sin or any other battle you are facing!

Christ handed you the keys to victory when you accepted Him into your life as your Lord and Savior!

Let go of the bondages in your life, and live free!

YOU are victorious through Christ!

Let that become our reality!

Have a victory reality!

Puzzling Love

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

~ 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8

Many people are puzzled about love because they don’t know what love really is.

Love isn’t a feeling.

Love is action.

Love isn’t what you hope to get out of a relationship.

Love is what you do for the other person.

Love is putting others needs before your own.

True love isn’t romance.

True love is found in the love of God.

God is love.

God is our example for love.

“God so loved the world that He gave…”

 Live a life of love.

Live a life of action.

Don’t just see a need- Meet it.

Don’t just tell someone you love them- Act on it.

Don’t just say that you love God- Live your life for Him!

Puzzling Peace

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:6-7

Trying to find peace, when you are looking in the wrong places, can create a greater lack of it.

Peace depends on your focus.

What are you focussing on?

Do you spend your time meditating on the pieces of your life that don’t fit right? Are you letting yourself focus on your worry, fear, doubts, anger, and your own weaknesses?

The Bible tells us to fix our focus on God!

Bring your worries to Him!

No matter what you are anxious about, give it to God!

Instead of focussing on the problem, focus on the solution!

God already provided us a solution for every problem we will ever encounter in our lifetime!

The gift of Jesus Christ when we accept Him into our lives comes with the answer to every situation!

Instead of focussing on the problem, be thankful for the solution!

When you keep your focus on Christ, and keep your heart in a position of thanksgiving, you won’t have to look for peace!

The peace of God will guard your hearts!

Fix your focus to Christ today, and be thankful.

Live in the peace of God today, and be blessed.

Puzzling Life

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself.

Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

~ Matthew 6: 33-34

A lot of people treat their lives like a puzzle.

If only they would have all the right pieces of their life in order-

then they would be living in peace.

It is impossible for us out of our own human abilities alone to fit every piece of our lives together in harmony.

We spend all of our time wrestling with our own thoughts to find where each part of our lives fit in the big picture, but the only thing we are doing is creating unease in our own minds and lives.

For example: Have any of these thoughts crossed your mind?

Where should I go to college?

Where should I live?

What should my career be in?

What if I’m not good enough?

Who am I going to marry?

How am I going to support a family and myself?

What if I end up alone?

What if my family doesn’t approve of me?

What if I mess up God’s plan for my life?

How am I going to become the person God wants me to be?

These thoughts are just a few examples of everyday worries and pieces of our lives that can very easily create an atmosphere of anxiety in our own minds if we allow them to.

The Bible tells us not to worry about anything!

All these areas of life are, and the things we chose to worry about, are just things.

All these are, are just pieces in your life to a much bigger picture.

Not one of them defines the bigger picture, but together they make a clear picture of your life.

Instead of focussing your mind on each piece to the puzzle, and worrying about how to make them all fit- Keep your mind focussed on the much bigger picture for your life!

Keep your mind focussed on what God has for your life, and trusting Him to bring them to pass.

Keep your mind focussed on the Kingdom of God!

God, who created a good work in your life, will not abandon you!

He will keep working in your life, arranging all of the pieces, until the full picture is complete!

Have confidence in Him!

Trust God with all the pieces of your life and live in His peace!
