“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself.

Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

~ Matthew 6: 33-34

A lot of people treat their lives like a puzzle.

If only they would have all the right pieces of their life in order-

then they would be living in peace.

It is impossible for us out of our own human abilities alone to fit every piece of our lives together in harmony.

We spend all of our time wrestling with our own thoughts to find where each part of our lives fit in the big picture, but the only thing we are doing is creating unease in our own minds and lives.

For example: Have any of these thoughts crossed your mind?

Where should I go to college?

Where should I live?

What should my career be in?

What if I’m not good enough?

Who am I going to marry?

How am I going to support a family and myself?

What if I end up alone?

What if my family doesn’t approve of me?

What if I mess up God’s plan for my life?

How am I going to become the person God wants me to be?

These thoughts are just a few examples of everyday worries and pieces of our lives that can very easily create an atmosphere of anxiety in our own minds if we allow them to.

The Bible tells us not to worry about anything!

All these areas of life are, and the things we chose to worry about, are just things.

All these are, are just pieces in your life to a much bigger picture.

Not one of them defines the bigger picture, but together they make a clear picture of your life.

Instead of focussing your mind on each piece to the puzzle, and worrying about how to make them all fit- Keep your mind focussed on the much bigger picture for your life!

Keep your mind focussed on what God has for your life, and trusting Him to bring them to pass.

Keep your mind focussed on the Kingdom of God!

God, who created a good work in your life, will not abandon you!

He will keep working in your life, arranging all of the pieces, until the full picture is complete!

Have confidence in Him!

Trust God with all the pieces of your life and live in His peace!
