7 things to be thankful for on Thanksgiving!

Have you ever asked yourself, “what does it mean to have ‘gratitude?’”

Gratitude: “the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.”

Thanksgiving is coming up this week, and with everything going on, I think we all should be appreciative to have our loved ones, family, and friends who care for us.

We show gratitude by being thankful and kind. At times, we need to show thankfulness towards one another. We all need some type of appreciation and gladness.

Here are 7 things I am thankful for:

I AM THANKFUL FOR YOU!

I AM THANKFUL FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!

I AM THANKFUL FOR A ROOF OVER MY HEAD!

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE BLESSINGS!

IM THANKFUL FOR THE HIGHS AND LOWS!

I AM THANKFUL FOR GRACE AND MERCY!

I AM THANKFUL TO BE A CHILD OF GOD!

Are You Leaning On God’s Love?

What is God’s love?

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love” – (1 John 4:7-8)

God’s love is so sufficient and more than enough.

God’s love is:

More than your insecurities!

More than your hurt!

More than your troubled times!

Learning how to lean on God’s love:

  • Put God first in your life.
  • Trust in Him.
  • Listen to His voice.
  • And rest in His love.

Remember: “Lean on His everlasting love.”

TOMORROW’S ELECTION!

Many people will be disappointed and excited tomorrow during the election, as they know in their mind, that this is the most important election of their lifetime!

Most people will be voting on what’s important to them or close to their hearts. However, just as in every other area of life, Christians should draw on biblical principles when deciding on which candidate to support and to vote into the most powerful position in America.

Franklin Graham once said, “There’s no perfect person—there’s only one, and that’s the Lord Jesus Christ, but he’s not running for president of the United States.”

As a Christian, our responsibility when we cast our vote will be to understand the principles of God’s Kingdom and His values, and then compare these with the content and character of whatever person, party, platform, or policy for which we will cast your vote.’’

The truth is that we don’t even know what is going to happen. it is so important for us believers to continue to walk in Victory no matter how the election turns out. Our faith and hope in God are good virtues to keep in mind when we are voting; knowing that we have overcome by Faith!

A few things to remember:

* Christ Himself is our victory

* Christ’s victory secures our victory!

* We have overcome by Faith!

* Faith is the victory and we have won the victory!

It is important for us believers to continue to walk in Victory,

no matter what circumstances look like!

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” – (1 Corinthians 15:57)
