How can you honor God today?

As I woke up this morning, I just thought to myself, what a blessing and honor it is to talk to Jesus whenever I want to, wherever I go.

You can do the same.

Deuteronomy 31:8 says, “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

To Honor is to have high respect, reverence, and distinction.

Every morning when I wake up, I pray and ask God, “How can I honor you today, Lord?

We can Honor and serve God in different ways… Here are three ways you can do this right now:

Set aside prayer time.
Tell someone you appreciate their work.
Bless someone.

When we serve others, we honor and serve God.

Do you prioritize rest?

Stay Refreshed!

We must remind ourselves, just as we must constantly maintain a vehicle to assure its best quality,
it is essential to keep ourselves refreshed!

How can you cross the finish line if you are too tired to press on?

We must learn how to maintain our body, mind, and spirit properly!

Keeping your body, mind, and spirit refreshed is essential to living a life of victory. We need to learn when to take a break and let God improve our lives.

Refresh your body!
Keep it rested, healthy, and active.

Refresh your mind!
Renew it with God’s Word daily, keep learning, and cast your worries upon the Lord!

Refresh your spirit!
Keep the fire of the Holy Spirit burning in your life, pray, get in the Word of God, and get under the teaching of your pastor at church!

Remember to stay refreshed!

Do you give your burdens to the Lord?

Easy and Light

In Matthew 11:28-30, the Lord says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest…Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

If what you’re going through today is anything but easy and light-

Give it to God!

RememberGod doesn’t want us going through life stressed, tired, overburdened, and miserable. Christ came to set us free from a life like that! Instead, God wants us to live a life filled with His joy, love, blessings, peace, and rest!

No matter what is weighing you down, let go of it and give it to God!

Find rest in the Lord

Are you silencing the desires of your heart?

Hold On To Your Desires

I want to talk to you about your desires…

God does not do anything without reason. This huge fact is easy to forget in the hustle of daily life. When God designed us inside our mother’s womb, He put specific skills, talents, and desires inside of us that we need to fulfill God’s calling on our lives.

You may be afraid to pursue God and the callings that He put in your life because you fear that you will have to give up something you love, security, or the comfort of familiarity.

But what God put inside of you, He will not let go to waste!

Your passionsyour desires, and your loves have a purpose. Hold on to them. Hold on to your desires!

Psalm 37:4, says “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

As you pursue God and live a life of obedience to Him, you will see those desires come into your life!

God will use your desires and your passions to help fulfill the calling on your life and help you to do your part in expanding the Kingdom of God and seeing the lost come to Christ.

Don’t think that what inspires you is not important.

Don’t let what drives you fall out of your sight.

Insteadhold on to your desires and seek God

He will not let you down.
