Good morning, or good evening to you!
Fall is finally here, and with it comes a season of gathering and creating wonderful memories. I hope your family enjoyed fun adventures during this beautiful time of Fall break!
Recently, I’ve been reflecting on a powerful scripture from Romans chapter 1:
“I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish. So I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” – Romans 1:14-16
This verse calls us to be bold in our faith! The author, Paul, faced immense challenges—persecutions and imprisonments—but he remained steadfast. How did he do it? He understood that the gospel is the power of God for salvation.
Paul recognized that there is only one path to true freedom, joy, peace, and hope—through Jesus Christ. He felt a deep obligation to share this truth, and we should feel that same urgency today.
Just as Paul said, “I am under obligation,” we too have a responsibility as believers. Having encountered Jesus and experienced His love, we are called to share that gift with others who haven’t yet heard. We are debtors to those still searching for the hope that we’ve found.
Let this be a call to action: don’t hold back! Share the gospel with confidence and joy. Remember, you have the power of salvation in your hands.
Ask yourself: “When was the last time I talked to someone about Jesus?” or “Does my life reflect the love of the gospel?”
Remember, you don’t need a pulpit to share the good news. All believers are equipped to spread God’s love in their own unique ways. Let’s step out in faith and make a difference in the lives of those around us. Together, let’s share the hope that transforms lives!
Be bold, and let your light shine!
