Do you ever think that because you are flawed or ineligable in your own eyes that God isn’t able to use you?

If you flip open your Bible to any page, you’ll find that is not the case at all!

Abraham -Was old.

Elijah – Was suicidal.

Joseph – Was abused.

Job – Went bankrupt.

Moses – Had a speech problem.

Gideon – Was afraid.

Samson – Was a womanizer.

Rahab – Was a prostitute.

Samaritan Woman – Divorced.

Noah – Was a Drunk.

Jeremiah – Was young.

Jacob – Was a cheater.

David – Was a murderer.

Jonah – Ran from God.

Naomi – Was a widow.

Peter – Denied Christ three times

Martha – Worried about everything.

Zacchaeus – Was small and money hungry.

The Disciples – Fell asleep while praying.

Paul – A Pharisee who persecuted Christians before becoming one

 

If God could use these people to help us, then God can use you to help others as well!

The people of the Bible aren’t fictional characters.

Each one of them was a human with feelings, flaws, and problems just like you and I!

The next time you think that God can’t use you to help people, remember Abraham, Elijah, Joseph, Job, Moses, Gideon, Samson, Rahab, the Samaritan woman, Noah, Jremiah, Jacob, David, Jonah, Naomi, Peter, Martha, Zacchaeus, the Disciples, Paul, and so many other Bible heros.
