What does it mean to be a “True worshipper?”

Or, let me ask you this…
“What does it look like to be a true worshipper?

What and who do you turn to when you’re having rough times?

I know for me personally, I turn to God and worship in awe of who
He Is: The Creator, The Almighty, The All-Powerful!

You worship what you find most valuable.
If you view God as being small, then your worship will be small.

True worship” is your response to all He has done, and giving back to Him, all that you are. It’s the time you get to be real, genuine and vulnerable.

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth;
for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.”-
John 4:23

A True Worshipperworships The Father in Spirit; Claps, Lifts their hands, Dances before Him, Stands in awe, Bows down and Makes a joyful noise!

And, in Truth; Believes that His Word is infallible and true

Are You Feeling Overwhelmed?

It’s okay, take a deep breath, my friend!

Taking a deep breath, when feeling overwhelmed, helps to bring a feeling of relief.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” – Philippians 4:6-7

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Say no more.

Here are 6 encouragements for when you’re feeling overwhelmed:
1.    God cares for you – Psalm 55:22

2.    God will comfort you – Isaiah 66:13

3.    God will give you rest – Matthew 11:28

4.    God will give you strength – Isaiah 40:31

5. God has a plan for you. – Jeremiah 29:11

6.   God is always with you – Deuteronomy 31:6

God knows when you are overwhelmed, exhausted, and worried. He is saying to you today,

“Trust Me. Come to me, and I will help you when you are weighed down and heavily burdened. Take time to pray, and with thanksgiving, bring your request to me, and I will give you rest.”

Remember this: God hears your prayers, and He feels your pain.

We Need To Talk…It’s Important!

Does God’s light shine through your life,
or
are you one of those “Secret Service Christians”
you keep it hidden in the dark?

In God’s Word, Peter describes believers as those who are, “Called out of darkness into His marvelous light.” -1 Peter 2:9

We who have received salvation are transferred to the “Kingdom of Light.” That light shines through our lives and reflects the nature of ChristHis love, compassion, and forgiveness. His light shines through our attitudes, words, and deeds.

It should be obvious by one’s actions, that they belong to Christ!

Some people have been hiding out in the dark for too long!

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds…” Those who seek the praise of men will receive no other reward, but those who live unto God before the world will reflect God to a hurting planet and be rewarded in Heaven. -Matt. 5:16

A way to think about it is… as if you are bringing light into a dark room… it changes the atmosphere…it enables all to see. So, if you think about it…it’s like the presence of Jesus…when in it…it touches one’s heart.

As you take time out of your day to read this, take time to ask God to help you shine brightly with His nature; His love, compassion and forgiveness, and to set a Godly example of obedience to His Word.

Jesus said, You are light for the world
so,Be the light.”-Matthew 5:14
