It’s not selfish to put your needs first, to care of yourself, and to make your mental health, and happiness a priority.

Today’s Goal:“Let every word, thought and action be rooted in Christ and radiate His love and light.”

Do you have Joy?

Joy is FAR greater than the pain, hurt or trial that you are going through!

“For the Joy of the lord is your secure place and your strength.”

Let go of all the hurt and emotions the enemy has brought to your life and give them to God.

You will have everlasting Joy when you learn to trust Him and let Him fill you with His love.

Happiness comes from outward things and is only temporary, whereas,

Joy is an inward relationship that can only come through knowing Christ!

Give all that you have in surrender to God in Heaven who has control of it all, and trust in His Word to bring good out of the bad.

No matter what your situation;
He will bring you Joy and Gladness!

His Joy will be your strength in the most devastating situations!

You will get through victoriously if you trust in Him!

Your Joy will remain as long as you have a relationship with Him!

Joy is a choice! It is up to you on whether you have it or not. Yes, life can be very hurtful and even unfair at times, but you must learn to “Change the things that you can and accept the things that you cannot!

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

– Romans 8:18

4 Steps of Love:

The greatest example on how to live your life is shown in the life of Jesus.

Everything He did was centered on love.

Here are 4 steps of Love:

  1. Love God!

The whole reason for your existence and the reason you were created is because you have a purpose and plan that God created JUST for YOU. You fulfill your life’s desires and spirits longing when you show your love to God and fellowship with Him.

  • Love Others!

No matter what calling is on your life, everything you do should be in love for others. Love is an action. Show your love for others in how you talk to them, treat them, lead them, care for them, and interact with them. Loving others will make you feel more fulfilled in life than any other action.

  • Love Yourself!

God made YOU in His image. He created you so perfectly. He designed your looks, your personality, your laugh, your smile; everything that makes you, who you are. You are exactly who you are supposed to be, so Love who you are and embrace it.

  • Love Life!

Love and enjoy every second you have of this life, for tomorrow may never come. Enjoy your family, friends, music, culture and traveling! Enjoy your life while following all the good things that God has provided for you.

“And so, we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” 1 John 4:16

3 ways to find Joy in Him:

What is the Joy of the Lord?

“The joy of the Lord is the gladness of heart that comes from knowing God, abiding in Christ, and being filled with the Holy Spirit.”

When we try to receive our joy or fulfillment in life from material things, our friends, or our jobs, we are left feeling lost and without hope. In all things, God should be our source for Joy.

Here are 3 ways to find Joy in Him:

The easiest way to have Joy in the Lord, is to spend quiet time with Him! Set apart time to focus on your Heavenly Father. Give Him time to speak to you.

Another way is to read the Bible daily; When you fill yourself up with the Word, there’s no room for negative things to come in throughout the day!

A third way to be filled with Joy is praying in the Holy Ghost. When we pray in the Spirit it builds us up (Jude 1:20) and enables us to more easily to hear God’s voice and His directions to us.

Purposefully spend time this week communing with your Heavenly Father so that you may be filled with His unmatchable joy!

Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey Him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure! Psalm 32:11
