Dear Friend,
Summer is here, a season of movement, moments, and unexpected memories. It’s also a season where surprises can show up uninvited: a sudden storm, a phone call that changes everything, or an open door you didn’t see coming.
That’s why now more than ever we want to be:
Ready. Rooted. Real.
Ready in heart, mind, and body.
Jesus said, “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning” (Luke 12:35).
That means spiritual alertness and practical preparation. Let your faith stay lit. Keep your eyes open. Don’t sleepwalk through this season, lean into it, fully alive and aware. Fill your spirit with God’s Word. Fill your car with gas. Fill your soul with prayer. You were born for “such a time as this.”
Rooted in what can’t be shaken.
Life will throw curveballs but we don’t have to be tossed around.
Psalm 1 speaks of the righteous as “a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season.” This summer, plant your heart deeper into the Word, into worship, into the presence of Jesus.
Let your peace grow thick like roots in the ground. When others panic, you can carry peace. When others despair, you can speak hope.
Real in how you live, love, and lead.
Don’t waste this summer performing or pretending.
This is the time to be fully present, real in your relationships, generous with your time, honest in your prayers. The world doesn’t need perfection; it needs authenticity. “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom” (Psalm 90:12). Every moment matters. Let’s live this season wide open and fully surrendered.
You are loved. You are held. And you are here on purpose.
Plan wisely, pray continually, and don’t forget:
God goes before you. He walks beside you. He’s already in your tomorrow.
Let’s make this summer a Holy Spirit adventure. Let’s be Ready. Rooted. Real.
