Cherished Family and Friend,
In the past three weeks, I've crossed continents—preaching in Saint Petersburg and Perm, Russia, where bishops and pastors gathered from across the nation. I've returned to the U.S., spoken at two missions banquets, and ministered at a powerful service at SouthPoint in Sacramento.
Now, as I fly home, I feel what Jesus felt in John 4—real weariness. And it was in that moment of exhaustion that these thoughts began stirring in my heart.
John 4:6 says, "Jesus, tired from the journey, sat down by the well." Those few words reveal something deeply human and divinely comforting.
The Son of God—Creator of heaven and earth—was tired. Yet His weariness didn't stop Him. In fact, it became the setting for one of the most powerful encounters in all of Scripture.
While resting, a woman came to draw water. She was broken, rejected, and ashamed—coming to the well at a time when others wouldn't be there.
Jesus didn't meet her from a platform, but from His place of weariness. He didn't deliver a sermon; He offered compassion. And that simple, Spirit-filled conversation transformed her life and brought revival to an entire city.
Even in His fatigue, living water flowed.
That truth has been echoing in me this week: when you're tired, God isn't done. Sometimes the most powerful moments come not when you feel strong, but when you're simply available.
Here are three life-changing truths from that moment by the well:
1.Your weariness can become God's meeting place.
When you feel empty, that's often where God fills you most completely. Don't run from your exhaustion—rest in His presence.
2.Divine purpose hides in ordinary pauses.
Jesus didn't plan a revival in Samaria. He stopped to rest. Yet that pause became the birthplace of transformation.
3.Even when you're weary, living water still flows.
The Spirit within you doesn't fade when your strength does. God still moves through tired hearts that remain open.
If you're feeling drained—emotionally, spiritually, or physically—remember this: Jesus understands. He knows what it feels like to be tired and still be called.
So, wherever you are on your journey, sit for a moment at the well. Let His living water refresh your soul again. The same Jesus who sat down tired is the One who stood up moments later and transformed a city.
He can do the same through you….
Supernatural Blessings,
Mikel
