Goodmorning family and friends,

There are moments when I look at my own life and wonder how many times the Holy Spirit was speaking and I was simply too busy to hear Him.

I love God. I have served Him for most of my life. I have preached around the world, stood before thousands, prayed at altars, and watched the Holy Spirit transform lives.

But I still have to ask myself:

MIKE, ARE YOU LISTENING?

It is possible to be busy doing things for God while becoming distant from the Spirit of God.

That thought deeply challenges my heart.

Jesus said, “It is to your advantage that I go away… I will send Him to you.” (John 16:7)

Think about the weight of those words. Jesus was preparing His disciples for His departure, but He was also making them an extraordinary promise:

You will not be left alone!

The Helper is coming.

And He came!

Yet I wonder if one of the great tragedies of our generation is that the Holy Spirit has not abandoned the Church—we have simply learned how to live without acknowledging Him.

HE ISN’T GHOSTING US. ARE WE GHOSTING HIM?

I believe we can hear the voices of awakening nations.

The voices of shaking cities.

The voices of men and women being loosed in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Something is stirring!

But awakening begins when hungry hearts start listening again.

The Holy Spirit is not visiting your life like a guest in a hotel. Scripture declares, “Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 6:19)

HE LIVES IN YOU!

The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead has made His home in you. You were never meant to face your pain alone, fight your battles alone, make decisions alone, or fulfill your calling alone.

Maybe that is what touches my heart most.

We were never meant to do this alone!

So why are we trying?

Why have we settled for knowing about the Holy Spirit without desperately pursuing His presence?

ASK! SEEK! KNOCK!

Those are not casual words. They are the cry of a heart that refuses to live another day spiritually dry, distracted, and satisfied with yesterday’s encounter.

How hungry are you?

Hungry enough to turn off the noise?

Hungry enough to lay down your agenda?

Hungry enough to obey when obedience costs you something?

Hungry enough to say, “Holy Spirit, Whatever you want, my answer is yes!”

Acts 5:32 declares that God gives the Holy Spirit to those who obey Him.

That challenges me!

Because we cannot continually ignore His voice and expect to experience the fullness of His power.

We cannot ask for fire while protecting the very things He is asking us to surrender.

We cannot pray for awakening while refusing to awaken ourselves!

WHAT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT ASKING OF YOU RIGHT NOW?

What have you delayed?

What have you resisted?

What have you allowed to become louder than His voice?

This is personal.

For me. For you. For all of us.

I don’t want to preach about a move of God and miss God moving in me.

I don’t want to tell others to listen while I am too busy to hear.

I don’t want yesterday’s encounter to become today’s excuse for spiritual complacency.

I WANT MORE!

More of His presence.

More of His power.

More of His voice.

More of His fire.

The Holy Spirit is still calling.

STOP IGNORING YOUR CALL!

STOP DELAYING YOUR YES!

STOP GHOSTING THE HOLY GHOST!

Holy Spirit, I hear You. I need You. I want You. Whatever You ask, my answer is yes. Fill me again. Consume every part of me.

He’s calling. Answer Him.

From my heart to yours,

Mike
