When something goes wrong, do you replay the situation in your head over and over? 

Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

How to surrender your anxiety to God:

  • Pray 
  • Create a gratitude list
  • Tell Him your worries
  • Trust His promises
  • Ask Him for help in a specific situation

Anxiety is a natural reaction to life’s troubles, but you do not have to let fear control your thoughts or actions. Instead, Paul tells us we can unlock God’s overwhelming peace through thankfulness.

I’m challenging you to write down five things you are thankful for every day for the next 30 days.

A daily gratitude list can radically change your mindset and help you break out of anxiousness.
