August 7th, 2023 Monday Motivator
So many of us desire to be used by God, but when the opportunity comes, are we ready?
Are you built up and sensitive enough to hear and be used by God?
I have a friend who knows when they have a busy week ahead of them; they set out each outfit they will wear for each day.
Sometimes they even meal prep.
They prepare. They are ready.
When we prepare (for anything in life), we are ready for action. We don’t do the last-minute panic dance or make excuses.
The same is true when we build a prayer life and devote ourselves to reading the Word. It is our spiritual prep work.
We prepare ourselves to be used by God for the things ahead.
When you have a consistent prayer life and time spent in the Word, you are growing and developing your Spiritman.
That Spiritman is becoming sensitive and aware of God’s leading, making you useable for God to use at any moment.
Those are the people who God looks for!
Because your relationship with Him is a priority to you, He’ll use you to minister to others.
Not only are you preparing yourself, but when you consistently pray and read the Word, you will see results.
Anything you do consistently will equal results.
So, if you consistently pray and read, you will see results of spiritual growth and intimacy with God your Father. How awesome, right?
But here is the kicker – we must believe He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Too often, we stop being consistent because we want to see instant or our timing results. That is not a reason to stop!
There is a reward on the other side of your consistency.
Keep seeking, keep inquiring of God, search, and He will be found, be ready!
Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Jeremiah 29:12-13 says, “Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
