Dear friends and family,

It’s rare that I talk like this on Momentum Monday, but as we step into the beginning of summer, I want to say something that has been on my heart.

Thank you.

Thank you for your prayers, your encouragement, your generosity, and your faithfulness. Over the years, I have become increasingly aware that many of the victories we celebrate were never accomplished by one person. They were the result of people standing together, praying together, giving together, and believing together.

When I look back over the years, I do not just see places I have preached or meetings where God moved powerfully. I see people.

I see friends who called at the right moment. Pastors who opened their churches and their hearts. Faithful partners who believed in the vision. Men and women who prayed when there was a battle being fought.

One of the things I have learned over the years is that pressure has a way of revealing what matters most.

And in nearly every difficult season I can remember, God used people to carry encouragement, strength, wisdom, and support into my life at exactly the right moment.

The longer I have walked with the Lord, the more I have learned that pressure is often part of the journey. When you are pursuing God’s purposes, the weight has a way of touching every area of life.

But God never intended for us to carry those pressures alone.

My thoughts settled this week on a simple statement in 2 Chronicles 19:11

“Behave courageously, and the Lord will be with the good.”

Almost immediately in chapter 20, opposition rises. Three armies come against Judah at the same time. Pressure was converging from every direction.

Yet what stands out to me most is not the size of the battle.

It is that Jehoshaphat did not face it alone.

He gathered the people, and the response became collective—fasting, prayer, and unity under pressure.

Then comes one of the most honest prayers in Scripture:

“We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.”

That is not individual survival. It is shared dependence.

And then God answers:

“The battle is not yours.”

As I reflect on that story, I am reminded once again that God never intended for us to walk alone.

He places people in our lives who strengthen us, encourage us, pray for us, and help us keep moving forward when the weight feels heavy.

So before summer gets fully underway, I simply wanted you to know that I am grateful for you.

More than you know, your faithfulness has made a difference.

Behave courageously. Keep your eyes on Him. And remember—you were never meant to carry the weight alone.

Blessings,

Mikel
