It is so easy to fall out of peace. Why?

Because people trust in the pleasant circumstances, nice events, or good things others may do for them instead of their peace being based on the fact that the Spirit of our Holy, omnipotent, and never-changing God lives within them.

Psalms 34:14, (NLT) says,

Turn from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.”

Sin causes the heart to harden. As we sin it weighs down on our soul and takes away our peace. It isn’t until we confess our sins and make things right inside ourselves, with God, and with others, that we are able to seek and pursue peace.

Don’t let the behaviors of others, interrupt your peace. They cannot rob you of

your peace if you have that inner sense of contentment and quietness, that dwells inside of you because of Christ.

When you make a mistake, fix it and apologize. This will allow your conscience to be free of guilt, shame, and condemnation to seek, pursue, and maintain God’s perfect peace in your life.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times
in every way. The Lord be with you all
.”
